Our very first ‘Early-Onset’ group

Our very first ‘Early-Onset’ group met at Burstons Garden Center for tea / coffee & cakes, followed by a fun flower arranging session!
Dementia very sadly affects not only older people: there are a growing number of people under 65 being diagnosed.
*Partners still working have to juggle the caring role of a loved one and a full-time job.
*Teenage / young adult children become carers to their own parents.
It is vital to provide relevant and bespoke support groups for people with an early-onset diagnosis.
We will be meeting:
2nd & 4th Tuesday afternoons of the month.All our outings will be chosen by our families.
